Keys to weight loss week 2

Last week we looked at cutting down on carbs and focusing diets on proteins and essetnatial fats, and this week we look at continuing your diet.  Many people on a diet have faced a ‘plateau’ a couple weeks in– not losing as much weight as in the first couple of weeks– and there is an explanation for the plateau.  Your body, no matter what diet, adapts to the change (in this case the reduction in food) and slows down the metabolic rate to compensate.  To counter this, the best way is to increase brown fat cells, which burn fat in both the brain and the body tissues.  Unfortunately scientists are still coming up with a way to do this.  So the next best step: Eat lots of frequent, small meals to keep your body burning fuel all day, and drink lots of water.  From your guru’s at BeastFitNation, check 3 new weight loss tips in the video!
