Myles Wade landed a new home.

Wade, a Portland native and undrafted free agent, signed a contract
with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Central Catholic and former All-American prodigy played just one
season for Portland State after transferring from Texas Tech where he
wasn’t getting the love that he deserved.

In one season with the Vikings he was very effective. The 6’1’’,
305-pounder, started all 11 games at defensive tackle, earning second
team All-Big Sky Conference as well as Academic All-Big Sky honors. He
was getting it done in the classroom too!

Wade tallied 30 tackles for the Vikings, along with four tackles for
loss and two sacks in 2011. He also had two blocked field goals on the
season.

The defensive tackle was highly recruited out of high school in 2007,
but failed to academically qualify for the University of Oregon.

Look out for Wade to make an immediate impact in the NFL. You heard it
here first at Beast Fit Nation.
