Former Oregon Ducks QB Darron Thomas not drafted or signed as free agent; America’s best intramural QB

Did not get drafted.

Some people make critical mistakes in their lives, and Darron Thomas made a huge one, when he decided to declare for the NFL draft in January. Instead of enjoying his senior year of collegiate football, with some of the best young looking women in America, he chose to take a gamble. The risk did not pay off for Thomas, as plenty of QBs were drafted and or picked up as free agents this weekend. Thomas still has received no phone call. Will he have to take his talents to Canada or Arena? Or will he remain in Eugene perfecting his skills as the best intramural QB in the history? One thing remains for sure, don’t take a gamble on your future.

i think darron thomas was ignorant for declaring for the draft. But there is no reason for him not to be drafted. He was similar to dennis dixon and is a valuable back-up quarterback for the Steelers. i believe he should have stayed in school but at the same time, i believe whoever signs him will have a good back-up quarterback that knows how to will football games.
