on Saturday, May 26, 2012Alex Sattley could not have had a better weekend down at the infamous track, Heyward Field, at the University of Oregon for the Oregon High School State Championships. Not only did Sattley take home another state championship in the triple jump, but he also won the athlete of the meet award given to the best overall performance. Taking home 1st in the long jump, 1st in the triple jump, and 4th in the high jump proved to be an unbelievable feat. Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn’t work hard, and Beastfitnation workouts instilled a discipline into Sattley that was incredible, and proved to be the difference in his performance this year.
