on Saturday, May 5, 2012Soccer has been the life for Kayla and Kelsey Henningsen ever since they were born. The Westview graduates played in the State Title game in 2008 and 2009, so we know their winners. Kelsey, the defender, has blazing speed, and is a formidable back-line player. While Kayla is a threat to get points, she had two goals last season, double digit shots on goal and her athleticism is unmatched. The Vikings will rely heavily on the twins to do damage and lead them to a Big Sky championship this year. Will these twins lead Portland St to a tournament berth? For now, they can be found in the Park Blocks, downtown Portland, dribbling in between pedestrians perfecting their ball movements and coordination, beware Big Sky, these girls can play.
